And so it was Written

I like to write and so I will post whatever I chose to write on this page. I may also post things I have written in the past-which might be kind of scary. Please feel free to comment on anything you read because I would like to know what others think about it.

I wrote this as an assignment for my Intro to Lit class. It was like our final to the short fiction part of class. This paper received an A++ (120 out of 100 points!). I don’t think I have ever received an A++ before, so it’s kind of a big deal to me.

I do not actually remember writing this at all.  It seems to be what is referred to as a “free write” by myself with absolutly no point.  I am slightly embarassed to post this because the writing and even the train of thought within it is quite……elementary.  Perhaps the fact that I have no memory of writing it combined with the quality of it are both strong indicators of…..my “state of mind” at that time.  To be honest, I really don’t know.  I will admit, after reading it to the end, it did make me laugh!

I really like this one.  In a weird and inexplicable way, I feel like this somehow is an explanation of….me and the way I view life.

Thoughts From My Head
November 1996
This is something I wrote that was published in the “newspaper”, The P.R.E.P. Press, for my high school.  After reading it, the only thing that sticks out to me is that the title had NOTHING to do with what was written-my trademark, I think.

Some random written things found on a sheet of notebook paper.  Re-reading them, I am baffled at what I ever had anything to do with Kentucky.

So after reading this, I am a little embarrassed.  This is really depressing and humorous all at the same time.  So dramatic!  But in my defense, I was 14!  Read but please do not judge!
